| Description | Hi Kerwin SKB is requesting confirmation of the following items. Please give me feedback by today after checking it. 1. About set resolution Logic 1-1) When setting the resolution, do FXN set it through Amlogic systemcontrol HAL? If it's not that setting, please let me know how to set it up specifically. 1-2) If hot-plug event off occurs during resolution setting, what happens to the resolution setting in progress 2. About the Color Format value used when changing to 4K at TV with 4K support 2-1) Please check if the color format value used when changing to 4K is processed according to EDID or adjusted to a specific color format value (For example, STB set the color format value of EDID when switching to 4K resolution, but there is a report that TV noise is generated.) Hi YK, Please check answers within below 1-1) We use 'SystemControlClient::setMboxOutputMode' to set output resolution. We don't add additional handles for it. 1-2) You can check function 'DisplayMode::setSourceOutputMode' in DisplayMode.cpp. The behavior is the same as AML reference board. 2-1) We follow BTF API Level v6 to implement Color Space changes. If there is no calls from MW, the behavior is the same as AML reference board. Thank you ! |

Hi Kerwin About 1-2) First of all, the following are the conditions. - STB is on / TV is off If you turn on the TV In normal cases, hot plug on event occurs, and STB is basically working to transfer data over HDMI. (performs a basic HDMI initialization ) However, abnormal cases such as the following are also observed. There are an old(certain) TVs that also has a hot plug off event after the hot plug on event. In some cases, hot plug on/off is repeated. Is there anything else that FXN has dealt with in the event of such an abnormal hot plug off event? About 2-1) Among the changes made by FXN Is there any forced change in color space under certain conditions? for example) For certain TVs, is there a patch that forced YUV444 to YUV420? Hi YK, About 1-2) We have not dealt with hos pulg event before. You can refer to the matins id 1723. This is the situation we have seen recently. We add a time check function for hot plug event. About 2-1) We don't have a patch to force color space to YUV420. Jerry |
